Comfortable and close to the Chiang Mai night bazaars. Clean, but not spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast buffet.

The location of this hotel is great, with plenty of things to do nearby. On the corner opposite the photo store is a local restaurant with great food. It is close to the Night Bazaar, which offers plenty of shopping opportunities. the park in the hills is within walking distance and it's perfect to relax.
The quality of the shower was below average.

The staff was especially courteous, always pleasant (smiling), and very helpful. Their English was quite limited--but, enough to communicate between the two of us. Suchera, the Manager, was especially wonderful! She managed to ensure a very safe and relaxing stay for us. She communited with me via email immediately whenever I had a question about the location, its safety, its surroundings, etc. A very special kudos to her!
Initially it was quite difficult for the even taxi driver to find its location. This is not a heavy tourist area at all. Although there were other hotels and motels around the corner, perhaps this location is off the beaten track--but, nonetheless, it was a good value in a decent location. It was encouraged that tourist do not wander outside late at night in that area (per the notice in the elevator) as there was a rash of robberies.

It's a pretty nice hotel - the rooms a bit claustrofobic - the staff just sit there and are present, only to wake up when you speak to them. It's located in a quiet street but the pet-farm next door is sometimes noisy. You need a good condition if you're walking towards the centre all the time. For the money a fair hotel!
